How to Erase all of my Golf Data on Garmin Connect

I have a couple hundred rounds saved on Garmin Connect. The problem is, the stats don't show what's happening now because there are so many rounds. How can I erase all of my golf data so I can start new?
  • did you ever get a response to your question? I also have several hundred rounds on my home course and would like to erase the data and start new.
  • Nope, still trying to resolve this issue. I'm actually on hold right now waiting for a customer support person. I'll let you know if I get this resolved. It's too bad that the garmin golf forum isn't supported better. We know that we can delete scorecards; this can be done individually. However, I now have 315 rounds. I just want to delete them ALL with one push of the button. Argh...
  • Better yet, Garmin should have a feature on Garmin Connect where you can specify the date range to view data. You can do this in other features. For example, if I want to see the last 6 months of my weight, it will show that range. You can also view one week, month, etc. Having over 300 rounds of data spanning back two years isn't helpful anymore in showing my current progress. It's a shame, uploading my scorecards isn't something I care about doing any longer.
  • WOW... I just got off with Garmin Support. The customer support person checked with the golf team and was told that you can NOT delete all courses at once. You have to do this individually. That could be one of the WORST feature sets I have ever encountered in a electronic item. How in the world does anyone with half a brain think that this is acceptable??

In summary, this is the reality of my Garmin Fenix 5 and Garmin Connect:

    1) When viewing golf data, you must view all data and scorecards dating back to whatever has been synced. There is no option to specify a date range. If you have 315 scorecards as I do, I have to view all 2 1/2 years of data together. There is no way to look at what I've done in 2018 for example. My game has really improved this summer so I want to see exactly where it has improved the most (i.e. greens in regulation, par percentage, etc.). No way you can do this.

    2) Deleting scorecards must be done individually. If you have 315 scorecards and want to start over (because of the lack of being able to specify a date range), you must do this INDIVIDUALLY. Holy smokes that is stupid.

I've read in another forum that you can create a new Garmin Connect account. However, then everything else that I have saved will go as well. I don't want that! Maybe I'll just pay my 10 year old son to sit down at my desk for a couple of hours to do this. What a head scratcher! Come on Garmin, you can and SHOULD do better.
  • Just a follow-up... I actually did have my son sit down and erase all of my courses so that I could start over. It took him about 40 minutes and I paid him 5 bucks. He's young so he thought it was a good deal. I'm looking to sell my watch as this is just not acceptable.
  • note on viewing activity by time range,
in the activity view (https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities) once you select a type of activity to view,
you will have a button named "advanced" where you can filter your activity by start and end date and other filters.
after the date filter apply you will have a page with a url like below (choose 'running' type of activity and then filter between 23th and26th of August):
    "connect.garmin.com/.../activities
alternatively you can play directly with the url like below(remove the activity type filtering to see all my activities, regardless of the type, between the time range above):
    https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities?startDate=2018-08-23&endDate=2018-08-26

    hope it helps

How did you delete your golf courses? I have moved cities so want to start again with new courses.

Just as an aside. Why does the password to get into this forum have to be so complicated. This isn't Fort Knox!! A simple 4 numeric password would surely suffice.
  • I paid my 9 year old son to go through 100+ scorecards and delete them all. I couldn't find any other way, which is crazy.
