Setting up weather on 3rd party watch face via code

I have a Fenix 5X and I’m trying to get the weather to work on a 3rd party watch face called SC8. It has a weather feature that seems to need a code of some kind to work but the developer hasn’t replied to my mails. I’ve tried getting an API code from Weather Underground but that doesn’t seem to work. Does anyone know anything about weather codes for watch faces and how to use them? I’m still digging but can’t find this info. Others using this great watch face also haven’t figured it out as far as I can see. I don’t know what a Data Field is but do I need that? Can I just use a code from the Garmin weather widget? Thanks.
