i am very disappointed with the Garmin Connect web interface for use with my approach S60.
It just doesn't work very well at all.
Things one would expect to work are just a headache and make me less inclined to even bother with the software. But i am paying for this in the purchase of my watch & expect better.
Scorecard Function is supposedly there for golfers to keep track of previous outings and use statistics to analyse their game. There is no statistic analysis available. Users cannot edit missing data, once a golf round is complete with any confidence the Connect application will actually work.
Gear.... now here is an idea. If someone gets new equipment, as many golfers from time to time do, let them remove old equipment and add new equipment. Currently you just add new equipment and the list of equipment grows, this makes selecting your clubs almost impossible to which one you are choosing.
Having the ability to mark a shot as a penalty shot, or a shot that went out of bounds might also help the end user.
It looks to me like this software has been written by someone who watches golf on TV, never played the game and has no intricate understanding of the game. It is a complex game.
Users should be able to look at statistics of the last 5 / last 10 rounds to see how their game is progressing. Small things like that would be very helpful.
