In Garmin Connect under User Settings, Under Heart Rate Zones, a user sets what they want their heart rate zones based on, ie % of Max or % of Reserve. Using the % of Reserve setting requires the user to enter their average Resting Heart Rate. Garmin is already calculating this in the Health Stats area and this setting should be able to be pre-populated and then automatically updated by the software based on the calculated average resting heart rate from that section. On the Fenix 5X watch you can set it to use the auto setting but the Garmin Connect software does not allow for that to be set and it will overwrite the setting on the watch back to a manually entered number. Please update Garmin Connect to allow for that field to be auto populated and then automatically adjusted as the user's average resting heart rate changes over time.
