Sleep data not available

Its been two days where I don't get sleep data. Anyone with this problem ?
  • Mine is working (using a Fenix 3)
  • I have the same issue for 6 days now. Just stopped sending sleep data out of the blue when it was working fine before. Using Vivoactive HR.
  • Mine works in a erratic way.
    I got sleep data today ( after two days of wrong data ) but as the day went by the sleep time changed. Weird. Also a good part of back data got corrupted. And it all happens after the GC Mobile update a few weeks ago.
    And it all hapened out of the blue too.

  • Having same issue.  I think it's an Connect app issue.  I noted the sleep info came through to my desktop app when I plugged in my watch to charge this morning.  But the app on the phone still says no sleep data available for sleep last night

  • That sounds unlikely, because the Garmin Connect Mobile and the Garmin Connect Web are just two different front-end interfaces to the same back-end data - once uploaded, the data sits on the server, and you look on the very same data from both applications equally.

    That told, you can indeed have problems uploading it via Bluetooth/Garmin Connect Mobile and still uploading it all right via USB/Garmin Connect Web, but once uploaded, the data is accesible from both applications in the very same way.

  • You might want to make sure you're logged into the mobile app with the same user account as used on Garmin Connect Web.

  • Thanks for the replies. Im willing to try anything, but if it was a Bluetooth issue, wouldn't I also have issues with the sync of steps and body battery, etc?  Those are staying synced between the watch and the mobile app. The sleep stuff I've only got the one log in as this I just got my first Garmin device (Vivoactive 4S) for Christmas and created my accounts.

    I have also had issues where the app is not storing my heart rate info. Both my phone and watch show the same current heart rate, but my watch shows me the last 4 hours of HR, but if I go to the detail of HR on the phone app, it says no data available. 

    It all worked fine for the first 3 days/nights, but the 4th day these issues came up. It was the same day that the desktop app upgraded it to version 3.8. but I haven't found a way to get back to version 3.5 that I had for the first few days.

  • The problem is that you wrote you could not get any sleep data over BT to GC Mobile, while you got some when charging over the USB cable. That's why I wrote it is possible that the BT transfer might have been incomplete, and that you should try loading the data through the cable again. However, if you tell that the data that came to CG Web through USB are not visible on GC Mobile, then it looks like you have two different accounts, or the phone is not connected to the web, hence not displaying the live data, or you do not look for it on the right place. Can you post screenshots from both the GC Web and GC Mobile demonstrating that the sleep data are visible on one side, and not on the other one (for the same night)?

  • Hm, that's quite weird, since as I wrote, both GC Mobile and GC Web show the same data from the same database. Please make sure your phone has the web connectivity. Eventually, you could perhaps try rebooting the phone completely, to make sure the problems are not cuased by caching or similar issues. If you previously used other Garmin devices, make sure they were removed from GC. I suppose you do have only a single account used on both ends. If not, use only one.
