Workout Plan vs Actual

If I create a custom workout - let's say for indoor cycling - with HR based intervals... Then I actually perform the workout.... is there any way to view what the workout was supposed to be vs what I actually did? I'd like to see how well I followed the workout plan. It would be handy to see my heart rate graph overlaid with what the planned workout was supposed to be... Is there a way to do this? As far as I can see when I view the activity, either on the app or online, there's no way to tell this activity was my custom workout and not just an activity. At a minimum is there a way to just overlay my HR zones on top of my graph of actual HR?

Thanks!
  • Not versus. Your Garmin wearable device will alert you if your HR was outside of the targets set for a particular step in the workout being executed, so that you may choose to either remedy the deviation on the fly, or knowingly disregard the targets and the alerts. After-the-fact review is not the point of creating a custom workout and sending it to the Garmin device to administer.
