Goals suggestions

Its coming to year end and I've been looking at setting 2018 goals and reviewing 2017 ones and i find Garmin Connect to be lacking in a few areas.
1: You cant set weekly, monthly or annual goals for steps and floors. This seems odd as its basic health feature yet you can set a goal for some really obscure stuff (virtual cycling?)
2: You can't easily see distance, steps or floors totals for the last week, month, 3 months, 12 months. I know I've over performed my annual running distance goal by 9% but need pen and paper to actually work out the total distance run. I know you can see the graphs but not totals.
3: I'd really like to see weekly goals for steps and floors. I want to average daily 17000 steps and 40 floors over the next year. But there is no way to achieve that every day as travel and lack of access to steps sometimes makes that impossible. It would be helpful to have a goal system that encouraged me rather than discouraged me.
4: I'd like to see a rolling average feature. I can see the same trend in my running distance over the last 3 years . Underperform in Q1 (Xmas Fat) . Over perform in Q2 and Q3 and underperform Q4 (tired). Totals over last xx days would be useful.

For those who got a Garmin device for Christmas i really do suggest you set some sensible annual goals. Its a good feature and means if you lose your enthusiasm and miss a week in February you may have some incentive to keep your "get healthy" new years resolution going. In 2015 i set an annual goal of running 600KM based on the previous years estimated actuals of 500KM. I'd convinced myself i was running "3 times a week most weeks". My doctor was less convinced and suggested an annual running distance. While I'm still inconsistent over the year and never going to be a marathon runner, the numbers have gone like this.
