Activities Sort Issue

I have noticed this in the past - but was reminded again. Figured I'd throw it out there to see if i'm somehow messing this up or at least to maybe get it on Garmin's radar.

On the activities page, within a certain activity category, Running for instance: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/ac...tyType=running if you click an arrow/data-field on the top of each column it seems it should sort it by that info. When clicked it does sort... or at least it seems it does, but then as you look down the column it quickly becomes apparent that they are not sorted. Happens with very field I tried (cadence, avg HR, max HR, avg Pace)

In case it matters: Using Chrome or Explorer

  • I have given Garmin access to my Garmin Connect account if need be to help them them with fixing this issue, wait and see now.

    I have to agree with john.daley that we have all become beta testers, Window 10 being a prime example. The thing I can't figure out is that with around 12,000 employees that probably have their latest tech, that software issues Garmin have need to be brought up on these forums. You would think that employees would be bringing the issues up and even upper management would see that there are issues (that is if they use their own devices). It is a shame really because these issues leave a soar taste in your mouth about Garmin even though I still believe that they probably have the best hardware out there.

    I also have the same problem since more than a half year. I hope garmin can fix the problem!

  • Garmin Connect is apparently such a mess, that it's difficult to fix anything without breaking something else. This issue goes back at least a month. Garmin declared they are aware of it and working on it and yet failed to provide a fix for weeks. And this is quite an essential issue and one that worked just fine before one of the glorious upgrades. My guess is they don't know how to fix it without making things worse.

    This is a pretty basic function that hasn't been working for weeks - when are you going to prioritise fixing it?

    The fix for this issue was released to Garmin Connect today.
  • Thanks for the fix, I was actually in the process of making a web site where people could import their csv files online and have them sorted. I might finish it anyway.
