The Garmin Connect 'gear' menu doesn't track my last run

In the Garmin connect app, the 'gear' menu is not reflecting my run two days ago. It is set to track my running since 11/28. It includes a couple of runs but not the long run that I did on 12/3. Under the 'activities' menu my run is listed as a running activity. The same issue is on the Garmin Connect website. I downloaded the latest app to my iphone today but that didn't make any difference. I wear the Forerunner 935.

    I managed to work around the problem by deleting the shoes in the 'gear' menu. Then I added the shoes again. I selected the option to apply it to all existing running activities since a certain date. This time it picked up the missing activity. The selected start date for the shoes was the same as before. It looks like a bug.
