New Vivoactive HR wont show up on the dashboard

I have a new HR to replace my Approach 40 as my primary activity tracker. It's paired with my phone and I can see the info on connect mobile. It also syncs with Garmin express. I selected it as the preferred activity tracker under devices but when I look at the dashboard I see it under fitness but not under activity tracking. And my data on the fitness page isn't current.
