Been following this thread for several months after contacting garmin about allowing cronometer to export food data to it, and see that garmin are just ignoring us all.
MFP is not fit for purpose. GARMIN…
unfortunately, Garmin's scale has reports of being a pain to turn on
I've had the Index S2 since it was released 3 years ago. Never had this issue. You have to tap it with your foot to activate it, then weigh yourself. Some people don't understand, as it may be different than what they're used to. https://youtu.be/-XYixItKVfQ?si=CfVM9AWyjp3OKXTv&t=65
Ive been using it now for...2-3 months and loved it. Occasionally ill tap it and itll not turn on, then appear to reboot. Total time lost is...15seconds. If 15sec is too long, I think people need to re-evaluate their day because thats an inconsequential amount of time to get upset over a technology piece hanging up.
Except it's not just 15 seconds. If it does it on average twice a week or so, and I use it for several years like that, it adds up to hours. And it's just another thing contributing to all the cumulative time wasted waiting on some piece of tech do what it's engineered to do. We more likely need to re-evaluate how much time we spend waiting on technology to improve our lives.
Chronometer measures details that MyFitnessPal doesn't and I'd appreciate Garmin allowing synchronization between Chronometer and Garmin.
Garmin, please add Cronometer nutrition data ability. It’s a glaring miss on your part. Other than that, love the products.
I much prefer Cronometer - it is more accurate and more detailed. Cronometer logs Garmin but not vice versa. What's the story? Some sort of deal with MFP? I tried it and it's okay but for me Cronometer is preferred.
