Time vs Distance

Hi Garmin,

I cant seem to find the Distance vs Time metric?

Eg, If I run a 5Km, i want to know what my time was at 4km.

Strava displays it very conveniently.

Ive checked both Garmin connect website and the app. There are some inaccurate workarounds but this should be a simple metric to find

  • Have you got Autolap on - I have mine set to autolap at 1 mile so I can see my splits - I agree that Strava does a better job as it presents both KM or Mile splits as well as your actual laps using the lap markers from the FIT file

    Hi JSR,

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes i do have autolap and that does work. I have 1km markers so i can get the info from there.

Trouble is if i maybe wanted time at 2.5km? It wouldnt work :-(

My feeling is you should be able to move a marker to any point in your activity and it should give you time and distance at that point
  • You can do that with the map/graphs page - what you can't do is get time/stats between two points in your activity

    An example from strava.

Shows time and distance (and other metrics) at any point in the activity

Still struggling to find it... Ill look around some more.

Indeed! Time stats between two points will also be great!

It is very similar, but still cant see the specific metric - Time at a particular distance, or vice versa
  • Yes I see what you mean - in Garmin you can have Time or distance not both - would be very useful to have the two
