Garmin Connect does not recognize device that ist connected to iPhone

I have Garmin Connect (GC) running on iOS10.

My Garmin Oregon 700 is registered in my account but, GC does not detect the device that is bluetooth-connected to the iPhone.

The Oregon 700 receives notification (ex. SMS, etc.) from the iPhone, so the Bluetooth-connection works.

Any hint what I can do?

Already tried without success:
- remove, reinstall GC, restart iPhone
- disconnected, restarted, reconected Gamin Oregon 700

  • I have the same problem for longer time now (also OR 700, iPhone). Did the same as you without any success.

    The BT-connection works and the OR 700 receives notifications from the iPhone. But Garmin Connect does not detect the device.
    "Live Geocaching" works over WLAN, but NOT with BT.

    The (swiss) Garmin Support told me, that Garmin knows the problem, but they could not offer any solution. In the meantime 2 Firmware upgrades were released without any patch to solve the problem.

    I'm very disappointed in Garmin - the main function buying the OR 700 does not work!
