Activity photos turned upside down

It's great that finally we can add photos to an activity, but all the photos I upload are turned upside down. Anybody else has this issues?
When I edit the photos and turned them upside down myself, Garmin Connect leaves it like that, so anyway I end up wit photos turned upside down. ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1267539.png

Is it something to do with orientation information in the metadata of the image?

I get this too, its really annoying.... tried it like 5-6 times and its upsidedown everytime...??

Are you using Garmin Connect Mobile app or Garmin Connect Web? I tried both today. They seem to be working fine.

No, it still doesn't work, the photos are always upside down. Even if I edit them and rotate them before uploading them again. I use Garmin Connect on the web.

I'm unable to replicate your issue on Garmin Connect Web or mobile app. I suggest contacting Garmin Product Support directly to get your issue resolved.

Are you certain that the image is being rotated and not just the EXIF Orientation metadata being updated?

It could be that to prevent image degradation due to re-encoding after the rotation only the EXIF Orientation metadata is being updated. If Garmin Connect is ignoring this, or is in a non standard format, the image will be displayed in the original 'as shot' orientation.
