EXPORT CSV link no longer working within Activities Page?
Former Member
I sync my (non-bluetooth) garmin once a week or so, and then I export all the data from my rides into an additional spreadsheet (so I can better manipulate/graph/explore the data). However, the EXPORT CSV button appears to no longer be working from the main Activities Page? Is this a bug that is getting fixed?? I really need to be able to export my own friggin data.
This issue has been reported and is being investigated by the Garmin Connect team. We apologize for any inconvienece in the meantime.
How long does it take to fix a simple "export to CSV" link???? This is crazy. There has been nothing but problems with Garmin Connect ever since you went to the "modern" theme. IMHO there is nothing "modern" about a site that doesn't actually work for it's user community. Argh..........
Garmin-Joey, Thank's to all answers... but my impression is that since the modern version it is for me more difficult to export my activities. Garmin is offering a more modern web site... but what a lot of people needs is exporting there activities with 2 or 3 clicks to a excel file!! Why did Garmin remove https://connect.garmin.com/minactivities ?? Can you tell me how I can export this parametres for my daily activity ?
Start / Time /Distance /Elevation Gain / AvegSpeed / Max Speed / Avg/ HR / Max HR / Cadence / Calories / Total Strokes ? With early version I do that in a few clicks ... and now ? regards
Sorry for the delay. I am sorry that you are not able to export the activities in the same manner as the classic version. If the above suggestions are not what you need to in order to export a single activity. Would it be possible to use the Export to CSV link in the activities drop down and then delete the rows from the spreadsheet that you don't need?
The link you provided in post 56 is no longer available because that was part of the Classic version of Garmin Connect.
Garmin-Joey, Thank's for your answer. I can export my activity of course.... but with Garmin Classic it was a lot easier.... I wish that in the future upgrade will brings more and not LESS options !!
hello Garmin-Joey, I can export my activities.. I see that exporting my activity to csv file and import it in excel file.. The link to access to map of activity is broken... Is it possible to import the activity to maintain the link active ? ( Blue and not black)
I've been following this, and I still can't do what I'd like on the CSV export, namely export one (or more activities, I don't care how many) , but I don't want a summary or just splits, I want a second by second export of heart rate, speed etc. Many other fitness apps seem to manage this without any trouble, but I can't seem to get the Garmin to do this. Apologies if this has already been solved in this discussion, but I can't find it. Ta.
@ouzel: You don't get to decide what goes into the content of the CSV file, even though Garmin Connect provides the option/feature of exporting what it will to an output file of that format. For the data/information you're after, you should be exporting the activity to a TCX file, and then (you're on your own in) extracting the data from the output and creating a CSV file from it, if you want a customised CSV file to suit your individual requirements.
