EXPORT CSV link no longer working within Activities Page?
Former Member
I sync my (non-bluetooth) garmin once a week or so, and then I export all the data from my rides into an additional spreadsheet (so I can better manipulate/graph/explore the data). However, the EXPORT CSV button appears to no longer be working from the main Activities Page? Is this a bug that is getting fixed?? I really need to be able to export my own friggin data.
Many thanks terry_bill!!! Golden Cheetah did what you described and although I have lost an evening processing the data manually, we are back on track. Garmin..very poor...unwilling to communicate any timeframe to fixing this error when first reported almost 2 weeks ago.
Apparently they didn't screw Garmin Connect up enough with their last "update" that limited how many fields you could see and removed the ability to customize the column order in downloads...now you can't download AT ALL = problem solved in Garmin world. I can't wait for my device to die and move to another system like Wahoo. Garmin has so much potential but refuses to do basic things to make the user experience bearable (like working).
Still no solution to this - pretty poor show. My Garmin 910 has just died (rubber over buttons has perished and become detached) and this is a pretty convincing argument for replacing with an Apple Watch + Runkeeper rather than another Garmin device.
I usually export my activity after each ride.... now it is a lot of time since my last export!!!!Can somebody tell me why Garmin is waiting so long time to resolve this problem? Regards
We appreciate the continue discussion and and apologize for the delay. The root cause for this issue has been determined and the fix is expected to be deployed early next week.
Garmin's attitude is unacceptable. They clearly want to limit the ability of their customers to export their data (see the change a few months ago to customize the exports). And now it takes weeks to fix a basic issue. I participate to a runner meeting this week-end where we give advice about the devices to record running sessions. Guess what, Garmin is not going to be very popular... and I am going to take great care to describe how Garmin is treating their customers.
More question... next week should this broken link will be restore; https://connect.garmin.com/minactivities ???? easy link to import activities in excel file regards
I really miss this feature too!!! After 2 weeks Garmin is still investigating? No answer? Simply unacceptable! I'm currently using an 820 and was thinking to buy a smartwach like the forerunner or vivoactive 3... but if this is the customer support, I will reconsider my choice. Garmin wake up!
