On Fri morning before my run, I decided to turn on the "Beta" version of Garmin Connect Mobile on my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. Since that time I've done 4 separate activities (3 treadmill runs and 1 outdoor run) and none of those activities have synced with my MyFitnessPal (MFP) app (which I've been syncing successfully with Garmin Connect for at least 9 months). Even though I turned off the beta version of Garmin Connect last night, even my run this morning doesn't show up in MyFitnessPal. The two apps are still syncing with one another because the steps recorded by my Forerunner 935 are updating to MyFitnessPal... just not the activities. I've tried disconnecting the two apps, then reconnecting, but that didn't work to fix the issue. Any suggestions as to what might be happening here? The only thing I'm aware of that changed is that I turned on the beta version of Connect Mobile for less than 24 hrs. Thanks for any advice/support you can offer!
I'm pretty sure that the beta should have nothing to do with MFP. For example, I use my FR910XT for cycling activities and it only connects via Express. If the data is really synced from web connect so I would look there.
I have run into that problem today as well. Yesterday, activities would sync. Today, they are not. In some ways, I am glad to see that this is not just me or the VA3. I was starting to think this was another new VA3 "feature". I am glad it is not.
I'm also having the same problem as of yesterday. Tried disconnecting Garmin from myfitnesspal and now can't reconnect even after uninstalling and reinstalling myfitnesspal. I've been using the beta version for a few weeks and all was ok until yesterday when it stopped synching activities to myfitnesspal. Now not synching steps either but as can't connect probably no surprise.
I am also having the same problem as of yesterday (20-Oct) and did not attempt the beta. Activities were showing up on 19-Oct but did not on 20-Oct or today. They (MFP) suggested that I disconnect and reconnect the Garmin Connect integration, but based on these responses and the number of people having the issue, I have not done so yet as I doubt that will fix anything (only create new issues). My steps are still showing up as of now.
Same problem here. I don't see anymore the activities on MFP. Only a garmin calories adjust with all activites + footsteps calories in 1 line. (Fenix 3HR)
Exact same problem here as stated above. Ever since the MFP update on 20 October. MFP seem to just pass the buck saying it's a GC problem??
I've tried everything that's been suggested, just cannot get my activities to sync! Can someone clever enough post the link of this topic to MFP. I'm a bit challenged with things like that!?
I'm also having trouble syncing GC to MFP. The food calories I enter in MFP show up on GC, but the exercise logged on GC doesn't show up on MFP. If I create exercise activity in MFP, a log is created in GC. So the sync only seem to happen one way (MFP > GC).
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling apps and de/relinking - but didn't work.
I have tried pretty much ever combination of installing/uninstalling apps, logging in/out, connecting/disconnecting, and GCM is simply not writing the connection info to the website. There is nothing about MFP in the Account Information. GCM and MFP show that they are connected, but the Garmin Connect website says they aren’t.
I noticed that the GARMIN CONNECT ADJUSTMENT entry on MFP include all calories from activities + footsteps. You just don't have the details of activities.
