Entered a manual activity today for the first time and was disappointed to see only a summary of the duration I entered manually for the activity. I would have thought a manual entry would incorporate the data (heart rate and movement) for the time designated for the manual activity. Does it not?
You cannot just recall or extract "24×7 tracking" data that is captured by the Garmin wearable device, and make it part of a record of a timed activity you did not track with the device at the time.
If you enter a manual activity, GC has no way too know anything about it (since you did not register the activity). After all, you could have done the exercise without a watch, or with a non-HR watch. So it simply does not have the necessary data.
Now, what would be a great thing is to add an option to leverage the HR-Data from a defined timeframe (with HR-watches) and to add manualy other metrics/data (Distance, Calories, etc.), if you know them. Still, you wouldn't get any other metrics like pace, time in zone, etc
