This is more about the Fenix than about Garmin Connect but I thought I'd cross-post it here.
I submitted the following feature request to Garmin at: http://www8.garmin.com/contactUs/ideas/.
If you would like to see this same feature added to your Fenix 5, then please request it of Garmin at that web page. You can just copy/paste it into that page.
If you don't have time to copy/paste this as a feature request, then just like this post so we get the developers attention.
"I like to listen to podcasts etc during my strength training but counting my reps distracts me from the content of the podcast. I like how my Fenix 5 tracks my reps. However, I still must count the reps myself since the Fenix 5 doesn't alert me when I've reached my prescribed amount. Please add a vibration and a beep alert that signals me when I reach the prescribed number of reps in a set. That way I can listen to my podcast without having to also count reps. BTW, it's ok if the Fenix rep count is off by 1 or 2 reps. I'd still use it. Also, please allow the alert to be a vibration AND/OR a beep. At the club there's no reason for everyone's Fenix 5 to be beeping everyone else."
Thanks
