Connection issue with Edge810 and iOS11 with the latest Garmnin connect app on iPhone

Is anyone having issues with the latest Garmin Connect update? Since the update I'm unable to upload activities to the Garmin Connect app.

To try and solve this I have deleted the pairing of the Edge 810 from blue tooth settings on the iPhone and on the Edge itself and rebooted both. After running the Bluetooth pair again, the phone connects and shows as connected under Bluetooth settings on the iPhone.
However the Garmin Edge 810 does not show in the Connect app as a device and under Bluetooth on the Edge it does not show as connected to the phone.

I have also uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again, my next step will be to reset the Edge 810 to factory defaults and set it up again, but wanted to check initially if this is an issue with the recent update that others are also suffering.
