When viewing the Personal Records dashboard widget a date item is shown to help users easily understand when the activity that led to the record occurred.
To make this more human readable, the Garmin engineering team seems to have checked for any records that occurred in the past week and instead of using the date stamp, the day the activity occurred is used instead.
However, it appears that the day that is shown not using the time-zone either from the Garmin Connect settings or the time-zone from the activity itself.
In my case a new record was set on Monday (Australian Eastern Standard Time: +10:00) but shows as "Sunday" on the dashboard widget.
