Thanks The IOS 11 Bluetooth connectivity generally seems flaky with all devices. I?m going to try the Reset All mentioned in the link you provided. Much appreciated
Same here. Also issues with Fenix HR 3 and iOs 11 :-( Some times I can re-establish bluetooth connection by: - Unpair from bluetooth settings in ios - Unpair from the garmin app (latest version today) - Reboot iphone and Fenix - Pair But it is a hassle to do that each time you want to read some Fenix data on your iphone :-(
Same problem here to. Up until today, removing the device from Garmin Connect and reinstalling it worked, but today although it find my Fenix 3hr, the pairing fail each time ... And of course, it?s today i need it ..,
(1) On Fenix 5 - Hold down Light button (1), goto controls menu - Power off - Power on - Hold down (1), goto controls menu - select green phone icon to disconnect from phone (2) On iPhone, Garmin connect - Delete Phenix 5 device - click on + to add new device - Select Fenix 5 (3) On Penix 5 - Hold down Up Menu (5) - Select Settings - Select Phone - Select Pair Phone - Watch produce a pair code (4) On iPhone, Garmin connect - Add pair code to phone - sync with watch (this takes a while, be patient) (5) All done!!
I have the same issue. Since about 3 months, I have not been able to pair my fenix 3 HR with my iphone. in the iphone bluetooth settings it says connected, on the watch if I go into settings-> bluetooth it says connected, but in the app on the phone it says not connected. Its a serious bug.
I think it is GC bug. I have this problem from begining with my F3 on IOS and WINphone (phone shows connected, GC shows not connected). The same with vivoactive 3. I didnt care till now, because I using wi-fi for sync, but my wife is unhappy with vivoactive...
