Is it possible to auto-upload activities from one device to two different accounts?

I guess this is a result of the recent data center migration that's happened to Garmin users in China. Now my Garmin account registered in the US is blocked from receiving updates from all my contacts in China, and vice versa for my friends' accounts registered in China. I think going forward I will have to maintain two separate accounts (US/CN) to keep connected with friends everywhere.

Now the question is, is there any easy way to upload all my activities to both accounts (other than exporting.fit files from one account and then importing them into another)?

Also, would it be possible to login into GCM using two different accounts on two different mobile devices (e.g., US account on iPhone and CN account on iPad), then have my Garmin device (a Fenix 3) syncing with both, without losing any data on either account? Basically what I need here is sorta a mirrored account.
  • Since only the device knows of new activities being completed and saved, I'd venture a guess that uploads of FIT files upon syncing are pushed by the device rather than pulled by Garmin Connect, and therefore the flag for whether a FIT file has already been uploaded to Garmin Connect (and governing whether it will be pushed to Garmin Connect upon next sync) must be set by the device on the device. That being the case, I don't think serially syncing with two different mobile devices running Garmin Connect Mobile will do what you want.
  • It could depend on the device.

If it connects to Mobile and also Express, you could try linking the activity to one account in Mobile and to the other account in Express. That's what I did a while back and it worked. I just don't recall if I did it for activities or for something else (like steps). However, it can also get confusing at times when you get distracted and can't recall if you did both syncs.
