Tracker for chain under gear

Just inquiring would it be possible to add to the bike gear section in garmin connect. Like in the shoes section where you can set a distance reminder tracker could the same be added to bike gear section.

For bikes, if a new component was added. For example, a chain and cassette, let me click the gear and set a notification when I hit 2-3k etc.

Gear is not organised hierarchically, but nothing stops you from creating a gear item of type Other to represent the component in question. You can even have multiple gear items of type Other assigned by default to all Cycling activities alongside your gear item of type Bike.
