Hi all.

As usually Garmins servers are down, and the "Is the servers down " list shows they are all online, so to give Garmin the benefit of the doubt, i was wondering if there are any ports in my router i should open, to make sure its not in my end the error is.

I dont know wich garmin servers connects to wich region, but i can tell you that we are not connecting to the same servers then, since Garmin Express cant connect to any servers and some functions in garmin connect through browser wont work.

Tried on a different computer, of course still no luck, and since Garmin still dont allow users to setup WIFI through the Fenix 5X, and with a badly designed cable conmnection (the Fenix 3 always worked nicely) wich connects, then disconnects, then connects, the disconnects etc etc etc im sitting here with an outdated software/firmware, not able to sync and load new routes and trainingsprograms....

When the above things works, its close to the best deal i have ever made, but when the servers goes down (wich is days every week), you a wondering why you spent 6500DKK (650 british pounds) on a piece of electronic

  • Different computer on a different router or same router? If the same router then you might wish to consider the possibility of the problem being at your end. If you really are on a completely different system I'd give Garmin a call?
