new activity type - freediving

Hello,

I know that the activity type scuba diving has been requested before, but this is about (indoor) apnea/freediving.

While the depth-disciplines are not that relevant here (using a competitors freedive-computer), there are also pool disciplines: "dynamic with fins" (DYN) and "dynamic no fins" (DNF), usually held in pools. Goal here is to dive as far as possible under water (of course with close supervision of a safety), and distances of up to 300 meter (in a 50m pool) have been met already by the worlds best with fins.

I am getting my Forerunner 935 with HRM-tri/HRM-Swim delivered after the weekend and am planning to use it for these activities and would like to be able to set this as an activity in Garmin connect.
As this is similar to swimming activities (capturing distance, time and heart rate), i think this could also be seen as a swimming sub-activity, as the rest is rather similar (i.e. entering pool size etc.). The "distance" field should be manually editable to single meters, as in most cases you do not want to stop exactly at the wall of the pool, so distances of i.e. 81 meter are more common than "round numbers" such as i.e. 75m (in a 25m pool).

As i also include regular swimming practice next to my freedive practice this would be very useful for being able to easily distinguish between my swimming and freedive sessions.

thanks,
Chris

edit: another discipline in the pool is "statics" where you just try to not move and hold your breath as long as possible, with times over 12 minutes having been reached during competition.. (with breathing of pure oxygen some have managed over 25 minutes), so this could also be part of the "freediving" activity, and for this only a "duration" field would be required, so this could easily fit into the above request as well.
