Garmin Connect Shows Blank Pages When Opened from Browser

Normally I do not report any errors but this time is too long. Garmin workout when opened activity through the website only shows blank pages using Mozilla Firefox 55.0.3 (32-bit) and Chrome Version 61.0.3163.79 (Official Build) (64-bit). It's been several days. Please help.

  • Clearly from my experience this seems to be an issue at the Garmin end, the fact I just spoke to a Helpdesk agent who has also advised this is with the tech guys and its not working on multiple internet browsers.
However the incident management process needs to be looked at as the agent wasn’t even able to provide a incident or problem ticket number or an estimated fix time. This sounds like a change gone wrong which looks to be impacting customers. Normally these would be rolled back. Either way customer service and information is very poor. Plus if Garmin proactively updated users on the issue this would generate less calls into the contact centre for the same issue so the agents are free for other quires. Advise as per above wouldn’t be needed then.

White screen here too, chrome mobile, desktop and edge tested with no luck
  • I constantly get this when starting up - almost always have to do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) in order for the content to load. Running with Firefox on Windows 10.
  • Yes, a cache issue would be one cause ... ctrl + F5 should resolve that.
  • I went cycling with a friend who works for a major UK website and I was able to log on from his house which uses a differnent ISP. He said that the issue will be with my ISP caching servers but Garmin will need to ensure that their pages expire so that are not cached by ISP. I am going to try using my Chromebook on another ISP latter just to prove that this is the case.
  • Im afraid as a non-teccy person I'm not following your explanations. I've tried logging in on Safari, Chrome and Firefox but get a blank page on all of them. If at some point anyone finds a solution and can tell me which buttons to press, I'd be very grateful.
  • See above. Control plus F5 ...

    Just hit the refresh arrow
  • I'm having this issue, using the the same PC and same browsers that I've been using - without issue - with the Garmin Connect website for months. Nothing obvious has changed on my system but I'm getting the white screen.

I've tried on 2 different mobile browsers too. Same issue.

Garmin, now would be a good time to pull your head out of the sand and acknowledge the issues your customers are reporting. I for one am getting nervous as I need to upload a course before a race this weekend - the kind of race where I intend to use the features I paid a lot more for than a base model watch, and which I won't be able to utilise if this doesn't get sorted quickly.

ETA: clearing cache on an Android device running Chrome hasn't changed things. Nor has switching to mobile data (effectively running the connection through a different ISP.)
