Can't View Any Activities after upload with Garmin Express

I was having some trouble uploading a ride to Connect. I can see it on the device in training history (Garmin Edge 800) but when I mount the device to my mac in the activities folder the activity doesn't exist. I usually manually upload rides by browsing the device and selecting the right file to upload from Activies. So I launched Garmin Express and clicked sync. Unfortunately it uploaded 38 older rides that I had synced from a different device which created duplicates. But besides this, when I go to view any activity now from the calendar in Connect, all I get is a blue bar that pops up that says Cycling but no window with the activity details. This is for any activity in my account.

Any ideas?
