Problems with Calendar

I can no longer open activities through the calendar view. In addition, when I add a new activity that is not one that is already shown in the activities list, it doesn't show in the calendar at all, and it doesn't show in the types of activities to toggle on for visibility, either. What is going on with Calendar???

I have this issue with the calendar on Windows 7 using Chrome. I use the workaround of going to the Activities, and then clicking on the workout there to bring up the details of the workout.

There is a screen of my problem. I tried with my macbook with chrome, firefox and safari and with a windows 8 with chrome, firefox and opera. Any news???
I have the newest version of Garmin Express and devices' firmware
  • Gotta say, I'm really tired of Garmin and its FUBAR software. This new 'upgrade' seems more of a downgrade to me. I'm having same problem as others. Calendar no longer allows me to select an activity for viewing/editing. The Activities page requires me to place the pointer just right and click carefully in order to open an activity for editing. Nothing improved in this latest redesign. Accessing data is now very difficult. Maybe, if you aren't going to improve things (or, even test them) before making changes, you should reconsider whether you should make changes at all. As it is, I've reached my tolerance of bad software with Garmin. Just bought a competitors bike computer and moving to their platform & environment. I hear they have great customer service and fix their software bugs promptly. You've known about the Calendar problem for a month, not like it's a small thing, and still it isn't fixed. WTH Garmin?

In the past month, I have been unable to edit activities within the calendar function and also I am now having my weight logged every day - looking at these forums these appear to be issues other users have been having over the last couple of years, it is a new problem, ongoing problem or what and apart from a mention from Garmin that they are looking in to it how does it get resolved?
  • same here on various laptops, click on an activity in calendar and all i get is a small blue box containing only the activity name
  • The Calendar is FUBAR and has been for a long time. This is just another of the endless series of bugs I've had to deal with on my unit and on the Garmin Connect site. It is VERY frustrating. I have years worth of data on the Garmin site. Now it is very difficult to access. They seem unconcerned.

My new Wahoo Elemnt Bolt arrived today. Set it up easily. Software works flawlessly. Programmable by iPhone, long battery life, works seamlessly with Strava and Ride w GPS. Been using Garmin since 2010. Glad they now have a worthy competitor and I have an option other than to pay for Garmin's lousy software.

First worked, so you have the solution, it lacks the will. The
slowness in solving this problem is annoying, I think garmin wants
to sell, but do not provide after sales service. I will not recapture
    Garmin.
  • (There was a post on 7 Sept from someone at Garmin on this forum saying Garmin knows about it, but still happening for me as of today...) One other workaround I've used recently, other than "Reports", is in "Activities", where there's a list of the latest, in case you're trying to view one you did in the last few days... Garmin did just recently fix an annoying issue with manually-entered routes, so there's hope they'll get on this one soon!!!
  • Garmin this is a very poor after service instead of upgrading new units surely you have to ensure the programs associated with it function correctly. Don't experience these issues with other more reliable competitors something which should make you situp up and take note and take action immediately.
