I noticed that it is no longer possible to download TCX (and GPX) files of public activities other than your own activities.
The response given by the Garmin Connect is: "Only owner of activity allowed to access this operation".
This is blocking services like CopyMySports (yes, I run that service) to fulfill their function.
From a Garmin Connect user perspective, if I do not want my activities to be public I can set the privacy level to private or connections only. No need for Garmin to decide for me that my details should not be publicly downloadable, just providing the option to restrict it is enough.
This change impacts thousands of users of CopyMySports (and probably other services and users also that I'm not aware of).
Can you explain what the reason for this change is and revert it back such that users can decide for themselves again if they want to restrict access or not (just like they could before).
