Feature request - Photos for Gear

Very surprised this hasn’t been added. Count me in on the request.

Garmin be like: "couldn't care less"

I came here to suggest that
1) our gear Nickname be displayed more prominently than the brand; and/or
2) there be an option to assign a colour to the entry for each shoe

Rather than scanning down a list of the same brand shoes and peering at the faint note underneath, I could tap on the orange ones, or today it was blue ones. A photo would take care of that beautifully.

I would also like to see the option to turn on an automatic prompt, so that when I first look at a workout it asks me if I want to add gear. I rotate my shoes so the autoinclude is not useful. I mean I guess there are people who have only one pair of shoes!

Everyone who wants this feature, do the same. Garmin won't listen unless many people request it.

If you contact them also include that we need to assign default gear to every activity type please, not just the selected few.
