But there's nothing to stop you suggesting such a feature to Garmin. In that respect. I never get the 1 mile record updated despite it showing on my device (935). I've always wondered if it's because I use metric units.
Phil my units are metric and i get a 1 mile PR recorded. i do use a 630 though so not sure if there are any differences though. i know at some stage i had to select what records i wanted visible in GC (but pretty sure this was a display setting rather than a recording setting. Does it show as a record on watch? or GC (app or web)? Interesting i am thinking of going to a 935 (not that this would influence the decision) but just further understanding before taking the leap.
Philip, both my FR235 and FR630 have detected my 1‑mi personal records in the past and updated Garmin Connect accordingly, even though I only use metric units on the watches. Could you please confirm whether you have enabled the option to display it?
If you've enabled the option, perhaps you can try manually uploading the FIT file for your record-setting activity, and see if that will trigger acknowledgement in Garmin Connect.
