Garmin connect website: unable to login

Good morning all,
I am unable to login from Italy to Garmin connect website: with any internet browser I get

Disallowed Key Characters.

I cannot also pair my device with my profile using Garmin Express. It replies

We're unable to add this device because our server are unavailable at this time

The site is having issues, or has been on and off for the past couple of days. Once you can log into it again from your browser you should be ok.

I also am not able to log in on a Mac using either Safari or Firefox. I get the same message "Disallowed Key Characters." This has been happening for several weeks. When will it be fixed??
