Resetting distance after activity started

Hi

Most of the time, when doing a marathon for example, you start far behind the start line. You have then to start the activity when the marathon starts, but the distance isnt quite right.
Is it possible to add a buttonhandling for resetting the distance when I cross the startline in marathons ? So you have more accurate data for the actual pace and distance run of course.

thanks
regards
Erich
  • Press Lap on your watch when you cross the start line.
  • If you are prepared to press the (or a) button when crossing the start line, then why not just prep your watch for the (presumably Run) activity profile you want to use, so that it will acquire a lock on the GPS signal (and your heart rate, if you're using either a built-in or an external heart rate monitor), without starting the timer, and only press the Select (or Start/running man/whatever-you-want-to-call-it) button when you cross the start line?
