Vivoactive stuck at 0% battery

Hi - had the Vivoactive over a year or so. No issues until now. Battery had drained after period of no use. Can turn it on when USB plugged in but charging sticks at 0% with lightning sign. I managed to get to a set up page which seemed to indicated charging mode is in "suspend" mode?? Any ideas anyone please?

    Where did you see "Suspend" mode? I have a VivoActive HR and can't find anything like that in the menu system. Just the battery state under Settings > System > Battery Level.

    If you haven't used the Vivoactive for a while, then no doubt the battery charge dropped below some critical point. It seems that at that point the device turned off everything in order to preserve a little power, probably to protect memory. Usually when such a thing happens to a device, one of two things occurs;
    1. The battery charge has dropped so low that the battery will never take charge again. It is permanently dead and needs to be replaced.
    2. The battery is in a very low charge state and will need to be left on charge for some time before it will recover enough to begin to charge properly.

    Bottom line: Put it on a good charger for a day or two. If it doesn't recover, raise a Garmin support request, or replace it.
