Golf Gear: Golf club stats

I really miss more stats regarding golf clubs and correct behaviour of this report.
The only we have is "average distance"... how about min-average-max for all, last 10, last 5. Also stats how often is some club used can be interesting.

Important notice:
Gear - Golf Clubs - "Average distance" is super limited to data recorded on course only.
In case of wrong reading by autoshot or for all people who dont want to be distracted during game by "always ask" option (club selection after every single shot), there is no way to use this stats.
Even I add club to every shot on WWW version of Garmin Connect, overal average distance of club is not being affect.
Imagine how this stats look like when watches accidentally reads 920m driver shot which is something you have no idea until you see it after game in the app.

Doesnt need to be a real time stats or even all shots stats. Just any way to pair autoshot, after round post editing or correction and final stats.
  • Wow this was 4 years ago and here we are, still no change from Garmin.  I regret my decision from purchasing Garmin CT10 and the S62 watch.  I should have purchased Arccos.  They have better use of data and present data we need.  Garmin is such a big disappointment.

  • I would also like to see better club stats available in the CONNECT App. The data mst be saved somewhere on a server... It would be nice to see every entry for, say, an 8-Iron, then remove the wayward shots from the data to give a truer average distanbce, and also how often one uses each particular club. So much potential here, but not currently exploited by Garmin sadly.

I do like my S62 though, and use it every round, entering shots as I go. If I duff a shot, I will try and say it was a club which would have gone that distance ... eg if I duff a 5-Iron 100yds, I will enter it as a Gap Wedge to try and correct the stats as best as possible.   One shouldnt really have to do this though... maybe there should be a "Mis-Hit" shot  option somewhere!!

  • Agree!. For Game improvement more club stats would be essential. Visit site for your game improvement
