When creating a repeat where you have a Run then Recovery, allow the last recovery in the Repeat to be deleted without effecting any other part of the Repeats. Reason, lets say I have 2mi Warm Up - 4XMileX400 Repeat - 2mi Cool Down Run. I want to run the 4XMileX400 as a repeat group through the last mile, but don't need the last Recovery 400 as I'll be starting my 2mi Cool Down which is incorporating the last Recovery.
I think if I was doing a session like that I would "appreciate" the final 400 as a slow recovery "stagger" before moving into a steadier pace for the "proper" 2 mile cool down.
If do not as Philip suggests or just make the last step 1.6 miles...
