Improving Weightlifting Functionality

The Garmin Connect App has a space to enter what lifts you did, but not while you are actively doing the activity on your watch.

The Garmin Connect App will keep track of how many reps of each activity you do, but won't do much analysis beyond that in reports.

I'd like to be able to:
- Enter weight, reps, and sets while I'm working out so I don't forget.
- Look at the history for a single workout while lifting, so I can see progress.
- Get better data reports on weightlifting.
  • I just made a similar suggestion before seeing this, and given you made this comment 2 years ago and nothing has progressed that kinda makes me sad. I wish there was a feature suggestion place in Garmin where users could have suggestions voted on so they at least give them some consideration. #feeling-ignored-by-garmin Disappointed

  • There is a place to make suggestions but there is no feedback mechanism.

    Whilst I think this would be a great way to prioritise, I suspect Garmin doesn't want to do it because it would also be open to their competition.  It is everyone's loss though.
