This has been suggested in other areas of these Forums and this will hopefully bring the subject to the notice of Garmin.
Many Users complain that the Vibrations created by some Garmin Devices are not adequately output by some Garmin Computers in real world use.
Hearing Difficulties plus Noise from Poor Road Surfaces, Traffic and Wind combine to prevent me from hearing any such output.
My best efforts to improve sensing Vibration from Edge 820+Varia Vision combo, by ensuring direct contact near to my Temple by fixing a solid pad inside the Arms of my Glasses, has not made significant change.
Please can Garmin review this situation and consider facilitating an 'eye catching' Visual effect that provides a bright coloured flashing effect when Vehicles are detected approaching from the rear? The objective being to grab the Users attention so that they have the opportunity to glance at the Vision Screen when the event occurs.
This effect may not be to everyones liking and so should be User Selectable.
Some Users of Edge 1000+Varia Vision combo indicate that adequate notification is provided. Perhaps there are 'tweaks' that could be made to the Edge 820?
