Imported .GPX files from Strava

I have uploaded a number of .GPX files from my strava account to garmin connect account as I have just purchased the Forerunner 235. All of the activities uploaded fine but are all now in miles not KM, and also the calorie data hasn't transferred.

Is there a way to correct this?

Make sure that your Garmin Connect account is set to display distance in km and not miles.

The unit of measurement is set to statute UK. Should this have been down before importing the data?

Doesn't really matter. Just switch measurement units to metric, then logout, then login again, and you should see all your data in kilometers.

Hmmm, that's strange. I just verified it on my Garmin Connect account. I had to logout and login for it to work, but it worked. One more question: Do you use the mobile Garmin Connect app or the web app?

I have a similar issue that calories from activities generated by Strava App do not transfer when imported to GC, and have to be entered manually. Another bug is that in Reports section, GC does not calculate calories and distance from Strava imported activites into the total count, although e.g. in GC Calendar they are visible as well as those generated by my Garmin device.
