I have a Forerunner 235 for running and day to day activity tracking and an Edge for cycling. During a ride the watch will count a load of steps with a high heartrate. Once synced to Connect, these should be discarded, as connect knows from the Edge that I was cycling at this time and so the steps shouldn't be counted. Currently it is giving me ludicrous daily calorie counts from the steps that were counted during a ride as well as the calories for the ride itself.
