cannot share route / courses...

I am looking to share and send a route / course I have created. New routes or courses I have created end up with a greyed out padlock icon (which is open) and a greyed out share icon. Moving my curser over either icon does nothing.
I'm sure I didn’t have this issue in the past.
My privacy setting is set to "everyone".
I have opened Garmin Connect in Internet Explorer; Chrome; Firefox - makes no difference.
Any suggestions would be great! Many thanks.

    thanks Martinr2 - if only it was that simple - as i said the "share icon" is greyed out and therfore does not allow this - how can activate it?

    you sure the padlock is unlocked & it's one of your own courses

    yes - its one of my courses (in fact brand new course added) - the padlock is also greyed out (but open).
    it is all rather frustrating! i've spent ages trying to solve...
    please help if you can!

    I have exactly the same issue and have had the same for some time - Would also appreciate some advise as this is a real pain.

    Greyed out open padlock - can send to device but can't share - have tried multiple browsers, changing permissions and even using google maps

    Create a duplicate so you can make de course public. That should do the trick!
