How can i edit an activity

Hello, i want to change a running activity to a 'transition' activity, since i also measure the time it takes my heart to cool down. i measure it as running because forerunner 230 doesn't have transition by default.
Currently it looks like i can only change it to other types of running.

Are you sure of the limitation?
On the web, I can change it to anything on the list I want including transition - even on the widget.

You can't from the activities list. Open the activity either from the widget or the list. Then you can make the changes you desire.

Ah yes it can be edited in the activity but not anymore from the activity list. transition doesn't have the possibility to see the metrics in the list, but i guess i dont need that. Thanks for the answer.

You can't from the activities list. Open the activity either from the widget or the list. Then you can make the changes you desire.

Correction to this. You can make minor changes directly from the Activity List such as title and specifics of the activity. Other changes have to be made by opening the Activity.
