Audio prompts not working anymore

The audio prompts don't work anymore; didn't change any settings, audio prompts are set to "on", tried restarting my garmin, tried restarting my phone (Samsung S7), tried reinstalling garmin connect. Nothing works. If I test the audio prompt volume on my phone in settings, there's no sound. Other apps on my phone (like spotify) produce sound both with and without headphones, so the Connect app seems to be the problem.

It worked fine before. What could be the cause?

    Fenix 3hr audio prompts no longer work. How come?

    Have reset, re synced, re installed. What's the cause? What's the solution? When will it be fixed? How long do I need to wait for a response? Thanks Fenix 3HR, Nexus 5 and Plantronics Fit Beats.

    A response to what? If you meant a response to your post above, then consider it already replied to - by a fellow discussion forum member and Garmin product user. This forum is not a formal channel on which to engage Garmin and lodge support/service requests, in any manner such that the company is obliged to respond to customers.

    I just "fixed" it by installing an older version of garmin connect (3.18)... Now I just have to wait until they fix the app so I can update it again

    I'm having the same issue. 735 with Goggle Pixel. I have recnetly installed both the 8.2 Garmin update and the Andriod 7.1.2 update. ANyone have thoughts?
  • My issue is close to this one...no matter how many times I turn "on" the audio prompts, the revert to the "off" setting soon after. Tried several fixes, restart phone, uninstall connect and reinstall. Looking for advice.
