Activity Filtering

Why was this feature removed in the new interface? I used it regularly to identify potential routes when I needed one of a certain distance. Now, I can't do that. i hope you can get some of the key features your users relied upon restored.
  • The feature to filter rides by Course seems to have been removed. This option doe not exist in the advanced filter. I use this to compare my efforts over specific routes. Please have feature reinstated.

I emailed Garmin about this & this was the reply that i got

    Dear Martin,
Thanks for the screenshot. Unfortunately this is just a change with the website. I would advise sending this feedback on the link below:

    Kind regards,

I sent them feedback using that link and asked for it to be reinstated as without it the Activities page was useless, maybe worth more folk doing the same

I have thousands of activities? How do i find things now? Please bring the filter back? Without the ability to manipulate the data it is totally useless. Just pump into Excel is the only option.

    It is not removed.

But you won't be able to filter when you have all your activities listed, you need to select one type of activity, for instance "Running". Then a button appears which says "Advanced". There you can filter. So this functionality has actually improved with the last version.

    OK?

Not OK! On my 15.6 laptop I can´t filter.
The button to activate the chosen filter is not visible on my screen and scrolling is impossible.

Garmin, PLEASE let us choose the "classic" version if we want to. This version has lost too much functions.

Indeed it seems the filtering feature has been removed. Hopefully when Garmion will realize it is very useful and many people use it, they will put it back. Usually, a website upgrade gives more feature, not less... Weird...

Does anybody know if you can still filter by course? That feature seems to be gone.
  • Is filtering activities per course possible yet? Seems like such a basic function.

Not by interface, but Connect Web have that information, you can use a script in web-browser console to get results as a text list - like in this thread: Recording times against a course#985305
