comparing heart rates between different activities

hey guys, I'm new to this forum and thought I would start of with hopefully a simple question.

Is there anyway to compare heart rates from multiple events? for example, I would like to compare heart rates from my last 5 runsand if possible, have them overlaid on each other.

I use a forerunner 235 and its working great but in connect I can only look at activities individually.

thanks
  • From https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities select up to four activities by ticking the first column then click on Compare Activities in the strip at the top of the Activities list.
  • thanks trippyz, that helps a lot, I was also looking to be able to compare the heart rate graphs from each event, to see it as a visual rather than just the numbers, is that possible?

I like this option too though, helps compare the throughout the events.

Yes – by exporting the activity records from Garmin Connect into some other application or online service you have to find and/or develop. (I'm sure someone has already done it.) That answers the yes-or-no question.

Just to be clear, the feature you want is not something to which you can expect Garmin to provide easy access at this point.

    Try looking at DCRainmaker.com

He does this all the time when comparing different devices. He uses custom software to do it.

But I think that he has mentioned some other sites/software that will do it.

One thing that might do it is to export the activities, then use GPSBabel to convert to a CVS files. Then use a spreadsheet to plot the HR's.
