Old activies no longer available after adding new device

I added Forerunner 15 through Garmin Express to Garmin Connect under my existing email address.

However only the activities from the new device (Forerunner 15) are available. All others are no longer there.

Strange thing is also that all my profile information along with my user name is no longer available. Did I create a new Garmin Connect account with the same email address?

When access Garmin Connect through the app on my smartphone, all the old activities are there but not the new ones added from Forerunner 15.

I am obviously confused and need help.

Obvious thing to do is to check the log-on information is really the same between Garmin Express and Garmin Connect on the interweb. Have you done that?
