Workout for Open water?

Hello, how can I create a workout for openwater swim?

1) Even a simple one (with no repetitions....)
something like:
- swim 300m
- rest 20sec
- swim 300m
....
all the data are there...

2) or as a memo to plan my weekly workouts?

    good question.

    Have you tried using the "custom" workout type? Create a workout and upload to your watch.
    Then 'run' it under one of the profiles on your watch. I haven't tried this myself, but let us know if this works.

  • Distance is very hit and miss in the open water. Might be best to set intervals based on time. If you know your pace/100m it shouldn't be difficult to set something up.
