I still need to be able to filter on Activity Names. Sorting by name doesn't work when the word I want to search for isn't the first and even when it is, I have to figure out where it would be in 40 pages of activities.

I have the same question.
It used to be at the top of the Activities page where you could type in a word that was in the activity name, and it would return them all. For some reason it got dropped off.
I'm thinking of stopping using garmin connect altogether and just using strava, as it is a pretty basic feature that I find highly useful.

The filter box for activity names used to be on the activities page. For some reason it got dropped off.
I found it extremely useful, so am considering swapping over to strava myself.
I would definitely switch to another activity logging and analysis site, especially if there was some way of bulk exporting all my activities from GC. Is there a way to do that?
