Activities not showing on the timeline in Garmin Connect App (Android)

Looking at the Snapshots > My Day page, at the bottom is my Heartbeat graph. Along the bottom of that any activities would have their relevant icons added (Walking/Cycling in either: Green for manually started activities or grey for Garmin IQ activities). These are no longer showing up.

It's not a major issue as the actual activity is being transferred and is view-able as normal (it's also going across to MFP without issue). My better half is also having the same problem.

Any ideas?

It's not just Android. The web app shows the same problem.

Maybe THEY did, but it started again a few days ago, maybe a week ago? A few days ago, I started being able to still see activities, but  seeing zeroes for sleep, steps, intensity minutes, floors climbed,

  • You need to (sucessfully) sync your watch with Garmin Connect for beign able to see it there. If you annot, or you did, there are basically three possibilities:

    1. The synchronisation does not work (the white circle around the watch symbol never closes) - in that case follow the tips in the Sync / Connection Troubleshooting Guide

    2. When the synchronisation works (the white sync circle closes and turns green), but not all the data is appearing in your account, then it very probably means that your device is associated with multiple accounts, and a part of the data lands in the other account. It frequently happens for example when you reinstall the application, and inadvertently sign up a new account instead of signing into the original one. Follow the instructions from the support document Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing to resolve the issue.

    3. The storage (or the FIT file storing the HR data and the steps data) is dammaged or full. Try backing up and deleting old files from the folder //GARMIN/Activity and //GARMIN/Monitor.
